Hero MotoCorp To Increase Two-Wheeler Prices From January 2022

- Prices of all Hero MotoCorp motorcycles & scooters to increase from Jan 4
- Prices will be hiked up to Rs. 2,000 on the Ex-showroom price
- The price hike will depend on the model and the market, Hero says
Hero MotoCorp has announced a price hike on all the entire range of the company's motorcycles and scooters from January 4, 2022. In a press announcement, Hero MotoCorp has said that the price hike has been necessitated to partially offset the impact of steadily increasing commodity prices. Prices of Hero motorcycles and scooters will be increased by up to Rs. 2,000 and the quantum of increase will depend on the model and the market, the company said. In September 2021, Hero had announced another price hike across its range of motorcycles and scooters.

The steadily increasing prices of motorcycles and scooters will be a dampener for two-wheeler buyers, with the domestic Indian two-wheeler industry yet to recover from market challenges. While the festive season did see increased consumer interest, in all, 2021 has been a year filled with sluggish consumer demand. Just a few days ago, Hero MotoCorp announced a country-wide retail finance carnival offering exciting retail finance schemes to customers through Hero MotoCorp's finance partners. Attractive offers such as zero downpayment, zero rate of interest and zero processing fees have been announced for customers till December 31, 2021.
