Honda Motorcycle India Launches Help Line Number for Motorsport Aspirants

- Aspiring riders can call the Honda Racing Team on the help line number
- The One Make Race will now have an exclusive All Women season
- Honda has upgraded the CBR250R and CBR150R for the 2016 season
In a first-of-its-kind, Honda has initiated a Help Line number: 0124-6712863, for those looking to take up motorsport professionally. The number allows any rider to reach out to the Honda Racing Team and the deserving candidates will be given training on the basics of two-wheeler racing at the Honda Ten10 Racing Academy. The bike maker will also provide technical support as well as race-prepped motorcycles to the aspiring riders.

Honda is conducting exclusive All Women One Make Race this year
The 2016 Honda motorsport season will kick-off with the ninth edition of the Honda One Make Race that is scheduled to commence from June 24 onward at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. Started in 2008, the one make race has grown strength to strength over the years and this year will witness the participation of women racers. The company will be organising a full-fledged season of the Honda All Women Race in a bid to encourage more women participation.
The first-ever All Women Race was conducted during Round 5 of the 2015 season and building on its success, 10 women riders will compete in the first round of the Honda women racing event. The riders have been trained at the Honda Ten10 Racing Academy.
Unveiling Honda's grand plans for motorsports in India, Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President, Customer Service, Honda India said, "Motorsport has been in Honda's DNA from the inception. There is something about motor racing that grabs the imagination of almost everyone. At Honda, we are delighted to announce the launch of our Help Line - 0124-6712863 through which we will be able help youngsters dreaming about a career in motorsports, actually achieve it."

The new CBR250R gets an upgraded Honda Racing kit, advanced body cowl and Endurance exhaust
Apart from new racers and riders coming on board, Honda has upgraded the CBR250R and CBR150R motorcycles for the 2016 season. The race-prepped versions have been improved Honda's Indian R&D team, with the CBR250R getting an upgraded Honda racing kit that includes a wiring harness with remapping option, advanced racing body cowl kit and an endurance exhaust. The new race-spec CBR150R gets a reprogrammed ECU and Endurance exhaust.
Honda said that over 53 entries from across the country have made it. The company will continue to conduct the CBR250R category as a Team Championship; wherein 16 CBR250R performance bikes have been leased out to four teams registered at FMSCI including - Ten 10 Racing, Prolap Racing, United Tech Torque and AMB Tuning.

The race Spec CBR150R gets a reprogrammed ECU and Endurance exhaust
The CBR150R category will be an open category where riders, who have undergone extensive racing training from Honda Ten10 Racing Academy or any other training school recognized by the MMSC (Madras Motor Sports Club) will compete for the top honours.
Lastly, 10 Honda Racing motorcycles will also be seen in the National Championship after six motorcycles were leased to Ten10 Racing team and four bikes to Pro Laps Team. Team Honda riders Hari Krishnan and Sethu Rajiv will represent India at Asia Dream Cup (ADC) Round 5, which is set to be organised at the BIC later this year.
