Hyundai Creta, the popular compact SUV from the Korean carmaker is all set to get its first facelift. The 2017 Hyundai Creta was unveiled early this month at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil and is likely to be launched in India by mid-2017. Although, it will go on sale in the Brazilian market much sooner, by the end of this year or by early-2017, at least.
The new Hyundai Creta 2017 comes with a number of cosmetic updates and few new features making the car all the more appealing. Among the several new changes in the Creta facelift, the most prominent update has to be the new face. While the bold and aggressive character of the car has been retained, additions like the new hexagonal grille with chrome borders, new sculpted front bumper and the restyled horizontal LED fog lamps add to the car's premium quotient. The headlamp cluster remains the same and so does the hood design, whereas, the overall butch SUV-like look of the outgoing Creta has been toned down a little.

The side profile of the 2017 Creta facelift remains quite similar to the current model, except for the addition of new alloy wheels that give it more upmarket feel and the smaller roof rails. Hyundai has also worked upon the rear profile of the car as it now comes with a new bumper with a larger silver skid plate. The tail lamp cluster has also been slightly updated.
As for the interior, changes made to the cabin are quite limited and the only major difference from the outgoing model is the new brown/black dual tone finish and matching leather seats. The car also offers some new features like - cornering lights, stability control, hill-climb assist, tyre pressure monitoring system and more. There is also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on offer.
