The Hyundai Tucson facelift went on sale in the country earlier this year. The SUV is positioned above the Creta SUV in the company's product portfolio for the Indian market. The updated Tucson comes with considerable upgrades including styling tweaks, a revised powertrain and new transmission options. Like the new-age Hyundai cars, Tucson is also a connected car. The SUV is priced from Rs. 22.57 lakh to Rs. 27.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Here are the top 3 cars that rival the Tucson SUV.

Citroen C5 Aircross:

The 2021 Citroen C5 Aircross is the first product to be launched by the French carmaker marking the brand's entry into the Indian car market. The SUV comes to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit, and it is locally assembled at the brand's manufacturing facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. It is a diesel-only car, which comes powered by a 2.0-litre 175 bhp oil burner. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV is priced in the range of Rs. 29.90 lakh to Rs. 31.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jeep Compass:

The Jeep Compass is one of the most features rich SUVs in this segment. In fact, it's the only SUV that comes with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The 2021 Compass SUV is available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines - a 1.4-litre Multi-air petrol and a 2.0-litre Multi-jet diesel engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 9-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT automatic unit. It is priced between Rs. 17.19 lakh and Rs. 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Volkswagen T-ROC:

The 2021 Volkswagen T-ROC was introduced in India early this year in March. It continues to come to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The SUV is based on the MQB platform. The SUV comes as a single variant powered by a 1.5-litre TSI EVO petrol engine. The motor produces 147 bhp / 250 Nm of power figures and is paired with the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The SUV is priced in India at Rs. 21.35 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
