Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE) Inaugurated In The UK, To Design Next Generation Offerings

Mahindra & Mahindra formally inaugurated the Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE), its new design centre that will be developing the next generation of offerings. The new state-of-the-art design centre was inaugurated by Anand Mahindra - Chairman, Mahindra Group, along with Ranil Jayawardena, International Trade Minister for the UK. MADE is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire and includes 30 of the most experienced talents in global automotive design. The team has extensively worked upon three of the five electric SUVs to be showcased as part of Mahindra's Born Electric launch. Mahindra says that Oxfordshire is the global automotive and EV hub, and also offers access to new and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, autonomics, advanced robotics, and more.

International Trade Minister, UK, Ranil Jayawardena, said, "Securing investment in Britain creates jobs, boosts wages, and grows our economy. Mahindra & Mahindra Chief Design Officer Pratap Bose said, "Our primary mission at M.A.D.E is to give expression to our Born Electric vision. MADE is being headed by automotive design veteran Cosimo Amadei and its primary objective is to conceive and create all future Mahindra EVs and advanced vehicle design concepts. The UK design centre will work in collaboration with the Mahindra Global Design network comprising a design studio located in Mumbai. The centre is equipped with top-spec equipment to help designers handle end-to-end design activities including conceptualisation, 3D digital and physical modelling, Class-A surfacing, digital visualisation and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design. There's also a complete digital visualisation suite, clay modelling studio, VR digital modelling and digital as well as physical presentation areas.
