- The Mahindra XUV700 has been spotted testing near Pune.
- It will be the new flagships in Mahindra's product line-up.
- It will be based on the W601 platform.
The Mahindra XUV700 which we have known as the W601 for long, has been spotted testing yet again near Pune. We are getting to see more spy images of the upcoming SUV online as it is inching closer to its launch timeline. Though the test mule remains under wraps, the latest image gives us a fair idea of what the rear of the car will look like. As seen in the pictures, the XUV700 gets a wider read and we also get a clearer look of the wraparound taillights that have split motifs and are conjoined by a bold piano black bar.

The new Mahindra XUV700 has been spotted testing several times in India.
The all-new Mahindra XUV700 is built on the company's new W601 SUV platform, and it is expected to come with upmarket design and styling, along with a range of smart creature comforts. The company claims that the SUV will come with all the latest world-class safety features. Based on some of the previous spy photos we have seen so far, the new XUV700 will come with features like a new grille, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, new flush-fitting door handles, new LED taillamps and sportier alloy wheels. On the inside, it will get features like - a large single unit section that will incorporate both the touchscreen infotainment system and instrument panel, just like we saw on the Kia Seltos. The cabin is finished in stitched faux leather inserts, and it comes in a dual-tone black and beige combination. It will also get an optional electronic parking brake, and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) along with at least 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, all 4 disc brakes and more.
