Maruti Suzuki's New Baleno Will Feature A 360-Degree Camera

- The new Baleno will have a 360-degree camera system
- It will also get gridlines in the infotainment screen for guidance
- Maruti is also adding a segment first HUD
The new 2022 Baleno refresh by Maruti Suzuki is shaping up to be a tech heavy affair. Already, the carmaker had announced a heads up display, a new 9-inch infotainment screen and the new SmartPlay Pro+ system which also features a new sound system with ARKAMAYS tuning, but now there is more. The carmaker has announced that its latest premium hatchback will also offer a segment first 360-degree camera system.

In a teaser video, Maruti Suzuki has revealed the 360 degree camera system which also comes with guidance lines as displayed on the new 9-inch infotainment screen. This will certainly be a segment first feature. What has not been revealed is if whether these are dynamic grid lines or static lines.
One should also expect connected car technology with the new Baleno as that is something already offered as an option on the Nexa experience vehicles. One should probably expect an upgraded experience from what Maruti Suzuki offers which will likely be married to an embedded SIM.

The new 9-inch screen replaces the 7-inch panel that was there on the older model
Aside from the upgrades in the in-car technology experience, the new Baleno is more of a refresh than a brand new model. It, however, does come with some visual upgrades, but the main theme around this new car is "tech going bold" as witnessed in the teaser videos so far.
