- The 2018 Lexus LC 500 has been inspired by Black Panther
- Only 100 units of the Lexus LC 500 'Black Panther' will be made
- The Lexus LC Coupe concept too has been inspired by the Black Panther
Marvel Studios' Black Panther is one of the hotly anticipated superhero movies from a barrage of superhero movies that we will see in the next 6-7 months. The Black Panther is the king of fictional country of Wakanda and one of the richest superheroes. So it is only fitting that he drives a car from a ultra-premium brand like Lexus. Yes! The Black Panther movie will see the titular character driving Lexus car. Also, Lexus and Marvel Studios have teamed up to reveal the Black Panther inspired 2018 Lexus LC 500 and the Lexus LC Coupe, which honestly, is off the charts. Talking about the Lexus LC 500 first, the car will be manufactured in limited numbers, 100 to be precise. It will be draped in an exclusive iridescent structural blue colour. This particular shade of blue took eight months to be manufactured.
(2018 Lexus LC Coupe inspired by Marvel's Black Panther)"The Inspiration Series takes our flagship products and makes them even more exclusive and distinguished," said Brian Bolain, general manager, Lexus marketing. "Our collaboration with Marvel Studios' 'Black Panther' features a technologically advanced blue LC and was the perfect inspiration for the first car in the Series."
The other features of the 2018 Lexus LC 500 are that it gets carbon-fibre scuff plates, bespoke white interior, 21-inch forged alloy wheels and a beautiful sommelier set, which has been inspired by the vehicle's design. The vehicle will be launched in the spring of 2018 in USA.
(2018 Lexus LC Coupe inspired by Marvel's Black Panther)The Black Panther inspired Lexus LC car is just a concept that originated in the minds of Marvel and Lexus personnel. Of course, it will not be on sale but the car looks every bit as intimidating as the Black Panther himself. The car is built by Takumi craftsmen along with Wakandan engineering. The concept vehicle has an engine powered by Vibranium cores and the body-work is reinforced with a layer of Vibranium weave, making it bulletproof. The Lexus LC car gets an underbody glow in a shade of blue, Black Panther Mask inlay on the bonnet and self-healing paint treatment infused with Vibranium as well (All of this is just part of the movie storyline).
Marvel Studios' Black Panther will release on 16 February, 2018.
