Mercedes-AMG A45S India Launch Details Out

Mercedes-Benz India is not done yet with the launches for the year and it has now announced that the hottest hatch in its portfolio - the AMG A45S will be launched in the country on November 17, 2021. It certainly is a firecracker of a car and comes to India just after Diwali. The company already has a thrilling AMG line up and the A45 S will add to that. The AMG A45 S of course is the world's hottest hatch and will come to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). We say hottest, we mean to say powerful, because there will certainly be leaving a trail of fire as it shoots across the streets. The AMG A45 S comes with a 2-litre, 4 cylinder engine which punches out 416 bhp and there's 500 Nm of torque on offer. The engine of course is the world's most powerful 2-litre 4 cylinder engines in series production.

All four wheels get power thanks to the 4Matic all-wheel drive system and it's the 8-speed dual clutch transmission that provides the power to them. The A45 S features six driving modes - Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Slippery, Individual and Race. It can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 3.9 seconds and that's fast, really fast!
We know this, because we got a chance to drive the car before anyone else. On the looks front, it has to match the sporty character of the engine and hence you have the signature AMG Panamericana grille, and even the bonnet is muscular and well sculpted. You get larger air dams and an integrated splitter as well. Come to the rear and you get a very pronounced rear diffuser and the quad exhaust just add to that sporty demeanour.

As far as price is concerned, we don't expect it to be cheap and it will cost close to Rs. 80 lakh when it hits the road. So, we can't wait to see it in the flesh for sure because there's so much to tell!
