Mercedes-AMG C63 S Launched in India at Rs. 1.30 Crore

Powering the performance-oriented C-Class, the AMG C63 S, is a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine which is the same unit that does duty on the AMG GT S. Mated to a 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox, this engine churns out a massive 503bhp while yielding a peak torque of 714Nm. This makes the Mercedes-AMG C63 S more powerful than the AMG C63 that produces 469bhp.

Mercedes-Benz India claims that the AMG C63 S takes only 4 seconds to touch the 100kmph mark from standstill, and has an electronically limited top-speed of 250km/h. It says enough about the kind of power this machine has.

Like all its AMG siblings, the C63 S too receives an AMG body kit that makes this already gorgeous-looking car even more appealing. The vehicle features 19-inch alloys , aluminium front wings, "twin blade" radiator grille with AMG lettering, diffuser insert with three fins at the rear-end, two chrome-plated twin end pipes of the AMG sport exhaust system, etc.

The vehicle's cabin too receives AMG treatment with several new features. The dashboard of the vehicle is finished in black ARTICO hand-crafted leather with stitching in crystal grey, AMG-specific controls, 3-spoke performance steering wheel, performance seats and carbon fiber touches here and there.
