Mercedes-AMG GT 63
The updated GT 63 retains the signature design cues of its predecessor while incorporating a refreshed styling approach. It continues to feature a long front bonnet, a swooping roofline, and a coupe-style rear end. The front fascia sees changes in the form of a larger Panamericana grille and new swept-back headlamps, while the rear maintains the slim tail-light design.
Powering the GT 63 is the ubiquitous 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, making 577 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 kmph. It also comes with rear-wheel steering, with the rear wheels capable of turning up to 2.5 degrees for improved agility and cornering stability.

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro
The GT 63 Pro takes the standard GT 63’s performance up a notch. While it retains the same 4.0-litre V8, the engine has been tuned to deliver 603 bhp and 850 Nm. According to Mercedes-AMG, this tuning results in quicker acceleration, cutting the 0–200 kmph sprint to 10.9 seconds. The top speed sees a slight bump to 317 kmph.
Once launched, the new-generation AMG GT will compete with models like the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS, which is currently priced at Rs 2.84 crore (ex-showroom). We expect prices to be north of Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom).
