MotoRoyale Launches The FB Mondial HPS 300 In India

- It is the most affordable Scrambler you can buy in India
- It gets a 249 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 24 bhp and 22 Nm
- BMW G 310 GS will be its closest rival, if prices are considered
Kinetic MotoRoyale has introduced the FB Mondial motorcycle brand in India and the first FB Mondial model to be launched in India is the HPS 300, priced at Rs. 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The FB Mondial HPS 300 is essentially a retro-scrambler which has a lovely minimalistic design and looks quite sexy. The HPS 300 gets a chiselled fuel tank along with a flat seat and knobby off-road that gives the bike proper old-school charm. The motorcycle was first showcased at the 2017 EICMA Show and is based on the FB Mondial's HPS 125. One way to look at it would be that the HPS 300 is the most affordable scrambler motorcycle that you can buy in India.

The bike gets a 249 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine which makes about 24 bhp and 22 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Up front, the bike gets 41 mm USD forks and at the rear, there are dual-shock absorbers. Braking is taken care of by a 280 mm disc up front and 220 mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as standard. The bike weighs about 135 kg which theoretically should mean solid power-to-weight ratio. The FB Mondial HPS gets an 18-inch wheel up front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear with tyre sizes 110/90 R18 up front and 130/70/R17 at the rear.

The price tag sure is expensive for a single-cylinder motorcycle but then, FB Mondial motorcycles are all about exclusivity. And in case you are looking for options, then the BMW G 310 GS is its closest rival.
