New Bajaj Pulsar 150NS Might Replace the Existing Pulsar 150

The Pulsar 150 NS looks exactly similar to the 200 NS that replaced with the Pulsar 200. So just like the Pulsar 200 was replaced by the 200 NS, we believe that the new 150 NS might be a replacement for the existing 150 DTS-i.

Highlights

Bajaj has displayed several new models under the Pulsar nameplate in the last one year. Interestingly, these models will be launched one after the other in the coming months. Though the Indian two-wheeler maker only displayed bikes above 200cc at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, the company is also working on a new bike - the Pulsar 150NS - that will come as a replacement for the existing Pulsar 150 DTS-i. The company had recently showcased the 150NS at a dealer event in Turkey.

Though the vehicle on test has a single piece seat, the final version might get the spilt unit - much like the one on the Pulsar 200NS.

The new Pulsar 150NS, as suggested by its previous spyshots, might come with a kick-start function along with the standard electric starter. Powering the bike will be a 150cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with triple spark ignition technology. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, it will produce around 15bhp. The new Bajaj Pulsar 150NS will take on the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, FZ FI V2.0 and CB Unicorn 160.
