New-Gen Toyota Glanza Bookings Open Ahead Of Launch Next Week

- The new Toyota Glanza will go on sale on March 15, 2022
- Bookings are open for a token amount of Rs. 11,000
- The new Glanza gets a complete design refresh at the front
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has begun accepting bookings for the new-gen Glanza hatchback, ahead of launch on March 15, 2022. The company said that bookings are open across Toyota dealerships and online for a token of Rs. 11,000, while deliveries are likely to begin soon after the price announcement. The new Toyota Glanza is based on the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback. The model though gets a completely reworked front design, going by the leaked images, in order to give it a distinctive identity over the Baleno.

The new Glanza will also come with features like Head- Up Display (HUD) and connected car tech like the Baleno
Toyota has also confirmed that the new Glanza will arrive in both manual and AMT gearbox options, while power will come from the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine with 88 bhp on tap. The model will also carry over several features from the Baleno including the head-up display, 360-degree camera, larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and more. The Glanza will get six airbags apart from a host of other safety aids.

Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years/100,000 km on the new Glanza and customers can opt for an extended warranty of up to 5 years/220,000 km. The company also offers periodic service in just 60 minutes via EM60, benefits from Roadside Assistance, and more.
