New Toyota Glanza Teased; Launch On March 15

- The new Toyota Glanza will go on sale on March 15, 2022
- The new Glanza shares its underpinnings with the new-gen Maruti Baleno
- The new Glanza will get cosmetic changes while carrying over the specs
Toyota Kirloskar Motor today teased the all-new Glanza premium hatchback and also announced that the car will be launched on March 15, 2022. The Glanza is the most affordable model from the Toyota stable and we were certain that it will be soon launched, given that the new Baleno was launched just a couple of weeks ago.

We say that because the Glanza is in fact a rebadged Baleno and we've seen this change already when the car was first launched in the country. The Urban Cruiser was the next car to undergo this very rebadging and we're expecting the facelift of that car too very soon.

The cabin on the new Toyota Glanza will remain identical to the Baleno and is likely to carry over most of the features too
As for the Toyota Glanza, the car will come with the same powertrain and transmission options as offered in the Baleno. So, you will get a 1.2-litre engine pushing out 88 bhp and there will be a 5-speed manual and Automated Manual transmission on offer. While we do get a glimpse of the car, we can see only the badge and the red really shines out. We also get a view of the front grille and the headlamps as well, both of which have been revised.
More details about the variants and the features on offer will pour out soon and we'll have them for you. So stay tuned!
