The cabin has also gone through some major changes and Nissan offers a host of options for the interior coloured in - black, red, ivory or tan touring leather seats & interior. There is an abundance of high-grade leather and other premium quality materials that have further added to the premiumness of the cabin. It also gets leather appointments on the centre console, door panels, and shift lever surround you in comfort, while hand-stitching and available semi-aniline leather on the seats are a tactile and visual feast. The car also comes with a host of features like a customisable touchscreen infotainment display with additional controls placed behind the gearshifter, multi-functional steering wheel, rear-view camera and an audio system from Bose with 11 speakers.
Under the hood, the new Nissan GT-R is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 engine that churns out a maximum of 562bhp and develops 637Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox that propels this Godzilla from 0-100 km/h in just under three seconds.
