- Dinesh Radhakrishnan has quit as the Chief Technology officer at Ola
- Radhakrishnan handled critical engineering functions at Ola Electric
- Arun Sirdeshmukh, CEO of Ola Cars, also left the company last month
Ola Electric's management exodus continues as the company's Chief Technology Officer Dinesh Radhakrishnan has quit, according to a recent report. Radhakrishnan handled critical engineering functions across both Ola Electric and Ola Cabs. He is the second high profile exit in a span of a few days after Arun Sirdeshmukh, CEO of Ola Cars, left the company last month. However, both Radhakrishnan and Sirdeshmukh join a long list of names, who left the company in the past year. While some reports claimed that the Chief of Group Strategy, Amit Anchal had also called it quits, the company firmly denied the rumour.

Dinesh Radhakrishnan was deployed to Ola Electric after software glitches cropped up ahead of the product launch
Most of the top executives left the company in a period of less than a year, further bolstering rumours that not all is well with the mobility start-up. Adding fuel to the fire, quite literally, have been several issues with Ola scooters right from production to delivery, and now breakdowns at the customer end. Radhakrishnan's LinkedIn profile suggests that he joined Ola last year in May and left the company this month, spending exactly a year at the firm. He was crucial in the functions and roll out of Ola Cars and Ola Dash, the pre-owned car and instant delivery services respectively. While Ola continues to push its pre-owned car business, the company had to scale down Ola Dash due to operational challenges as well as fierce competition.

The report further states that Bhavish Aggarwal, chief executive and co-founder, Ola, had deployed Radhakrishnan to Ola Electric amidst the delayed launch of online bookings for the S1 Pro electric scooter. Radhakrishnan was replacing Gaurav Aggarwal at the time, who was previously the head of software at Ola Electric. The software glitches continue to pose a problem for the company even after the launch of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, with several users complaining about the scooter abruptly stalling, going to reverse mode and in some cases, of complete shut down. The manufacturer did roll out the MoveOS operating system on limited offerings recently, which is expected to resolve the glitches via over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
