Paris Motor Show 2016: India-Bound Renault Koleos Showcased

- It will be coming to India sometime next year
- Range of engine options will include two petrol and two diesel engines
- The new Renault Koleos will have an optional 4-wheel drive as well
(2017 Renault Koleos)Renault says that the all-new Koleos carries a perfect mix of rugged SUV styling and the refinement of a premium sedan. The Koleos gets a long list of tech such as the R-LINK 2 multimedia tablet, which is available on other high-end Renault models. Also, the Koleos gets a four-wheel drive which Renault says is latest. That coupled with a ground clearance of 213mm, should give the Koleos good off-roading ability as well. Customers will have an option of choosing from variety of petrol and diesel engines. The range of engine options on the new Koleos, depending on the market, will include two petrol and two diesel engines with power outputs ranging from 130bhp to 175bhp, mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or X-Tronic automatic transmission.

The Koleos will be arriving in India sometime towards the middle of 2017. Renault believes that SUVs are having a strong growth in many markets and India surely features in that list. The Renault Koleos will be going up against the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the Hyundai Santa Fe after its launch in India.
Apart from the Koleos, Renault has also showcased the Megane Grand Coupe, Alaskan pick-up truck and the facelifted Clio along with the TREZOR Concept Car at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. For an exhaustive coverage of the 2016 Paris Motor Show, click here.
