Depending on the model year and condition, you can get a pre-owned previous-gen Celerio for anywhere between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh. However, before you start looking for one, here are some pros and cons you should know about buying a used Maruti Suzuki Celerio.
Pros
- The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a good city car. It's compact and comes with a light steering, which will allow you to easily manoeuvre through traffic.

- The Celerio comes with a peppy 1.0-litre 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10B petrol engine that makes 66 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed AMT unit.
- Maruti also offers the Celerio with a company-fitted CNG kit. So, if you are looking for a reliable used CNG car, then the Celerio could be a good option.
The cabin of the Celerio is also very basic, while the design and styling are dated, the plastic quality is also not the best.
Cons
- The fit and finish on the previous-gen Celerio are not the best. There are quite a few panel gaps, and the older model also missed out on features like projector headlamps, DRLs, and LED taillamps, which have become very common now.
- The cabin of the Celerio is also very basic, while the design and styling are quite dated. The plastic quality used inside is also not the best, and it didn't come with even get features like a touchscreen infotainment, or auto AC even as an option.
- While the new Celerio is yet to be crash tested, the older-gen model was crash tested by Global NCAP In 2016, and it received a very poor zero-star rating.
