Micro SUVs are getting ever so popular in the country and the Maruti Suzuki SPresso has certainly grabbed a lot of eyeballs. The SPresso targeted an audience which was looking at buying a high riding vehicle at a lower price point but while a new model will cost more, if you are in the market to spend Rs. 5.50 lakh (on-road) on a used car then a 2020 SPresso would be a good choice of car to look at. But there are some pros and cons to it and we list them all out
PROS
- We need not tell you that the Maruti Suzuki badge does very well in the used car market and hence will not depreciate in value as fast as the other carmakers.
- The VXi Plus variant costs close to Rs. 5.50 lakh and comes equipped with a lot of features. This of course is the manual transmission variant

- The 2020 model year is BS6 compliant and that puts your mind to rest
- The SPresso is a high riding vehicle and gives you a good view of the road ahead. The SUV-like ride height really makes it easy to drive and the wide windshield too helps with better visibility
CONS
- The SPresso has scored a zero star rating in the crash test conducted by Global NCAP and hence safety is not the cars strong suit
- The SPresso AMT will cost you more in the used car market
- The SPresso does not come with rear AC vents, so yes, you do miss out on that feature
