Range Rover Velar Autobiography Launched In India At Rs 89.90 Lakh

- New Velar Autobiography costs Rs 5 lakh more than the Dynamic SE
- Gets additional features including adaptive air suspension
- Continues to be powered by 2.0-litre petrol & diesel engines
JLR India has expanded the Range Rover Velar line-up with a new top-spec Autobiography trim. Prices for the new Range Rover Velar Autobiography start at Rs 89.90 lakh (ex-showroom) - about Rs 5 lakh higher than the Velar Dynamic SE.

The Range Rover Velar Autobiography gets several updates over the Dynamic SE, both in terms of cosmetics and features. On the cosmetic side, the Autobiography variants get copper trim finishing on the exterior to stand out, along with new 10-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof and pixel LED headlights. The cabin is finished in ebony Windsor leather paired with Shadow Grey Ash veneer.

On the features front, the Autobiography gets some crucial additions such as adaptive air suspension, a powered tailgate with gesture control, heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, Meridian 3D sound system and Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 system with drive and off-road modes. That aside, the Autobiography gets all the bells and whistles from the Dynamic SE, including the four-zone climate control, 360-degree cameras, cruise control, an air purifier, powered steering adjust and more

On the powertrain front, the Autobiography is offered with the same P250 petrol and D200 diesel engines. Both mills displace 2.0 litres with the petrol unit good for 246 bhp and 365 Nm of torque while the diesel pushes out 201 bhp and 420 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
