- New Bullet 650 based on RE Classic 650
Royal Enfield has taken the covers off the new Bullet 650, a 650cc addition to the iconic Royal Enfield Bullet model. The new Bullet 650 is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 650 and is the latest model to expand on the 650 Twins platform, first introduced in 2018 with the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Although based on the Classic 650, the Bullet 650 has its distinctive elements, giving it its own identity as a ‘Bullet.’

The overall design takes inspiration from the iconic Bullet 350, Royal Enfield’s longest running model in the brand’s modern history, complete with the metallic Royal Enfield tank badge, hand-painted pin-striping on the bodywork and signature “tiger eyes” pilot lamps on the headlight assembly.

The side panels are signature ‘Bullet’ styling, and the single-piece seat is also a nod to its Bullet lineage. The instrument console is identical to the Classic 650, with the same analogue speedometer with a small digital screen with a fuel gauge, tripmeter and odometer. A Tripper navigation pod offers turn-by-turn navigation.
The new Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is powered by the same 648cc, air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin SOHC engine which produces 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch which are also retained from the Classic 650.
Like the Classic 650, the Bullet 650 is also built around the same steel tubular spine frame with a 43 mm telescopic front fork with 120 mm wheel travel and twin rear shocks with 90 mm rear wheel travel. Dual-channel ABS is standard, and the Bullet 350 also runs on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination. Kerb weight is 243 kg with 90 per cent fuel and oil, identical to the Classic 650, and so is the 154 mm ground clearance and 14.8-litre fuel tank capacity.
The new Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has been unveiled in two colour options - Cannon Black and Battleship Blue. Prices for the new Royal Enfield Bullet 650 are expected to be announced at MotoVerse 2025, Royal Enfield’s annual festival in Goa later this month. We expect prices for the Bullet 650 to begin at around Rs. 3.75 lakh (Ex-showroom).
