The Jury Came, Drove and Voted! And your NDTV Car of the Year 2017 is - the Skoda Superb. As one of the most credible awards in the industry, the NDTV CNB Awards winners are voted on by a Jury that includes race car drivers, auto enthusiasts, members of the Indian and international motoring press and industry experts.
The Skoda Superb was launched earlier this year and apart from winning the coveted Car of the Year category, also won the award for the 'Best Fullsize Sedan of the Year'. The 'CNB Viewers Choice Car of the Year' on the other hand was won by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza by a considerable margin along with winning the crucial Compact SUV of the Year Award too. The Vitara Brezza also won the fast growing 'Subcompact SUV of the Year Award.' The Design of the Year Award was swept by the Volvo S90 which also won its category taking the 'NDTV Premium Car of the Year 2017'. The M-Sport 7 Series impressed our jurors with not jut its luxury, interior trim and gadgets but also with its sheer road presence and driving dynamics that almost lends it a sports sedan feel.
