Skoda Slavia 1-litre Petrol Launched In India, Prices Begin At Rs. 10.69 Lakh

Skoda Auto India launched the all-new Skoda Slavia 1.0L TSI sedan starting at Rs. 10.69 lakh and going up to Rs. 15.39 lakh for the top-spec trim. Available in three variants- Active, Ambition, and Style, with two transmission options, the new Skoda Slavia is developed on the MQB-A0-IN platform like the Skoda Kushaq SUV that was launched in 2021. The Skoda Slavia will rival the likes of the Honda City, and Hyundai Verna in the market, as well as its upcoming sibling, the Volkswagen Virtus once it goes on sale in the coming weeks. Deliveries for the Skoda Slavia 1.0L TSI sedan will commence from today. Skoda Auto India will reveal the prices for the Skoda Slavia 1.5-litre TSI version on March 3, 2022.

In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Slavia is the widest, tallest, and longest in the mid-size sedan segment.

In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Slavia is the widest, tallest, and the longest in the mid-size sedan segment, as it measures 1,752 mm in width, 1,507 mm in height, and sits on a wheelbase of 2,651 mm, offering enough space for rear passengers as well. The Skoda Slavia also leads its class in terms of boot space with a capacity of 521 litres. With the rear seats folded this expands to 1050 litres. Besides, it has a ground clearance of 179 mm. IN terms of the exterior colour schemes, the Skoda Slavia comes wrapped in Crystal Blue, Tornado Red, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Carbon Steel.

Under the hood, the Slavia 1.0L TSI develops 113 bhp and 175 Nm of peak torque, and it comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional 6-speed automatic torque converter. Visually, the Slavia comes with Skoda's signature butterfly grille with vertical slats and thick chrome borders, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, and sporty multi-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the infotainment system will be offered as standard, and the top-end Style trim will also get My Skoda Connect mobile online services. As for safety, the car gets up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBS, ESC, ISOFIX mounts, rear parking camera and sensors, and more.
