Sudarshan Venu Appointed New Managing Director Of TVS Motor Company

- Appointment is from immediate effect.
- Sudarshan was previously Joint Managing Director at TVS
- Company recorded its best-ever turnover in FY2022
In an internal elevation, TVS Motor Company has announced that Sudarshan Venue has been elevated to the role of Managing Director effective immediately. Sudarshan was previously the joint managing director of the company. Sudarshan played a crucial role in the company's growth both inside India and in foreign markets including Asia, Africa and Europe, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Speaking on the appointment, Ralf Speth, Chairman, TVS Motor Company said, “Sudarshan has got a clear vision and brings with him both a tremendous passion for advanced technologies and sustainable growth, deep-seated in values. He thinks future-oriented, staying ahead of the emerging trends. Personal, smart mobility, including electrification, are two of his big areas of focus. He has also spearheaded the international growth of TVS Motor.”

TVS recently announced its financial results for FY2022 recording its highest ever turnover in both the fourth quarter and in the overall financial year. The company also had a strong start to FY 2023 with a little under 3 lakh units sold in April 2022 – up 24 percent year-on-year though numbers were lower as compared to March 2022.
