The carandbike Awards Break Into Top Ten List For Auto Awards In Asia, Middle East And South Africa

And now the programme's '2021 Car of the Year' has cracked the Top Ten listing for the most visible global automobile awards in the Asia, Middle East and South African regions combined. The World Car Awards, China Car of the Year, and European Car of the Year have the top three positions, in that order. This is according to an annual study conducted by Cision Insights that examines share of voice for such events and properties. The report is collated by examining how automobile awards programmes worldwide are performing in leading global publications. This covers print, television, online media and key opinion leading media outlets in all global markets, analysed between May 16 2020 and May 15 2021. The study includes coverage by over a thousand media outlets overall, spanning hard news to pure automotive and lifestyle.

It is important to note that the Cision report only takes into consideration and analyses the media coverage and reports for 'Car' awards. The ranking on share of voice for The carandbike Awards would be higher if the two wheeler category of awards was also to be included. But the Cision study is only conducted for 'car of the year' awards programmes in global markets. The study publishes four lists, as it ranks awards on a worldwide level, in the European region, in the Americas and Australia, and the aforementioned Asia, Middle East and South African region combined.
