Triumph Gifts Custom Bonneville To Cancer Sufferer

- The one-off custom is called the Dapper Bonnie DGR100
- The bike is based on the Triumph Bonneville T100
- Cancer sufferer Phil Green was presented the bike at the London DGR ride
Cancer patient Phil Green went to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in London to ride a one-off custom Bonneville T100 made especially for the charity event. But the Accident and Emergency (A&E) nurse, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer seven years ago, was presented the bike, called the Dapper Bonnie DGR100. Triumph Motorcycles Brand Manager Miles Perkins presented the bike to the 50-year-old in a speech before the ride. The Triumph 'Dapper Bonnie DGR100' is based on the Bonneville T100 featuring burnt orange colour scheme, a Harris Tweed seat and a selection of Triumph original aftermarket accessories.
"They say we're here for our fathers, our brothers and our friends. I'm here for my son, so in 30 years' time he won't have to go through what I go through. But most of all, I'm here to ride this bike. I'm here to dress dapper. And we're here to show London what we're all about," said Phil.
