Ultraviolette F77 Sales Set To Double With Start Of Exports To Europe

- Ultraviolette has begun dispatches of the F77 electric motorcycle to Europe.
- 100 motorcycles shipped in the initial batch; five-fold increase in exports targeted.
- F77 range is priced from Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
While it may have made a slow start from a sales point of view, Ultraviolette Automotive’s maiden product, the F77 e-motorcycle, is set to gather pace with the start of exports to European markets. The Bengaluru-based start-up recently shipped the first batch of 100 Ultraviolette F77s to the United Kingdom, as well as nine other European nations – France, Germany, Luxembourg, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands. The start of exports will more than double F77 sales so far this year – Ultraviolette expects to sell 500 units overseas by August, which is over twice as many F77s as sold in India in the first six months of 2025. As per the latest VAHAN data, just over 400 F77s have been registered across the country this year.

Maiden electric scooter from Ultraviolette, named Tesseract, will arrive in 2026.
Owing to the high sticker price of its debut model, Ultraviolette has so far remained a niche player in the electric two-wheeler market. However, this is set to change next year, when the brand will launch its first electric scooter, the Ultraviolette Tesseract, which has already racked up over 50,000 pre-orders. Another mass-market offering will be the Ultraviolette Shockwave, which is also set to hit the roads next year.
