One of the most-awaited models is Ducati's upcoming sport touring model in the Multistrada series. The Ducati Multistrada 950 will have a smaller capacity engine than the Multistrada 1200, and is priced very attractively at Rs 11.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). As of now, Ducati does not have a model that can go head to head with the Triumph Tiger 800 Range. And with the expected pricing of Rs. 11.53 lakh (ex-Delhi), Multistrada 950 undercuts the Tiger range by a decent margin of Rs. 40,000. Only the Triumph Tiger XR costs lesser than the Multistrada 950 at Rs. 10.60 lakh (ex-Delhi). The Multistrada 950 comes equipped with ride-by-wire, ABS, traction control, wheelie control, various riding modes and also gets brembo brake callipers up front.
(Upcoming Ducati Bikes prices)Lastly, Ducati will be launching the SuperSport and the SuperSport R in India at a price of Rs. 11.72 lakh and Rs. 13 lakh. Ducati says that the SuperSport range will be more rider friendly than the Panigale models and will offer the same riding experience. Also, one will have the option of getting the SuperSport S customised as well. The difference between the SuperSport and the Panigale is that while the Panigale is based on a monocoque chassis, the SuperSport sits on a Monster trellis frame chassis, but with a different engine, fairing and electronics.
