Volkswagen India Announces Special Offers and Benefits on the Polo and Vento

Volkswagen India announced the customer incentive program for February, 2015, wherein customers can avail offers and benefits on select variants of the Polo and New Vento.
Mr Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited, said, "The Customer Incentive Program has been designed to create deeper inroads into the Indian market, by means of making our products even more accessible to our customers."
Talking about the Polo, its dimensions are just fine and the shape is also pleasing, if not sexy or exciting. It is a small car that really is that - small. It is offered with two engine options: a 1.5-litre TDI and a 1.2-litre MPI petrol. While the diesel puts out 89bhp and 230Nm of torque, the petrol offers 74bhp and 110Nm of torque. It competes with the likes of the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Swift.
As far as the Vento sedan is concerned, VW brought in a facelift in September, 2014, with the most important change being the addition of the new 1.5-litre diesel engine - the stripped down version of the old 1.6-litre diesel motor. Other than that, it also gets a 1.6-litre MPI and a 1.2-litre TSI as engine options. While the power output for the motors is the same, i.e. 104bhp, the torque varies across the range.
1. Vento 1.6L MPI (Manual):103.56bhp, 153Nm
2. Vento 1.2L TSI (7-speed DSG):103.56bhp, 175Nm
3. Vento 1.5L TDI (Manual):103.56bhp, 250Nm
4. Vento 1.5L TDI (7-speed DSG):103.56bhp, 250Nm
That said, the Volkswagen Vento faces competition from the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Honda City.
Available through Volkswagen Finance, interest schemes on the Polo and the Vento start from as low as 7.99%. In addition, the limited stocks on the Polo will also be available at zero down payments. Other customer-related benefits like free 1st year insurance & exchange benefit are also on offer.
These offers are valid until February 28, 2015 across all Volkswagen dealerships in India.
