Volkswagen launches Vento 'Preferred' edition with heavy discounts

In a bid to boost its sales in the Indian market, Volkswagen India has rolled out a special edition Vento called the 'Preferred' in India today. Based on the Vento Comfortline diesel variant (model year 2013), the Preferred edition comes with an additional accessory pack worth Rs 51,000. This accessory kit will be offered free of cost to customers. (Also read: Volkswagen stops selling Polo base variant)
On the outside, the Vento Preferred edition gets new alloy wheels, chrome window embellishment, trunk spoiler, different side door protectors and stylish door visors. While inside the cabin, the Preferred edition has been offered with leatherette seat covers and doorstep garnish. The special edition also gets a reverse camera that also works as a navigation system.
In addition to the accessory pack, the company is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, free insurance for 1 year and roadside assistance for 4 years.
