Volkswagen India recently launched the Matte edition of the Polo and Vento in our market, making the range more aspirational for buyers. We also saw Skoda giving the same treatment to the Rapid recently. While the Skoda Rapid Matte received a comprehensive styling update both on the inside and outside, updates on the Polo and Vento Matte are limited to just cosmetics and the cabin remains untouched. - Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has launched the Polo and Vento Matt Editions in the country.
- The Matte edition is available in the GT variant of the Polo, with prices starting at Rs. 9.99 lakh.

The new Volkswagen Polo and Vento Special edition models get cosmetic updates like the Carbon Steel Grey Matte finish on the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumper.
- The Vento Matt edition, on the other hand, is priced from Rs. 11.94 lakh for the Highline AT variant, going up to Rs. 13.34 lakh for the Highline Plus AT variant (all prices, ex-showroom India).
- On the outside, the new special edition models get cosmetic updates like the Carbon Steel Grey Matte finish on the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumper.
- The ORVMs and door handles come with a black glossy finish and add to its sporty looks.

The interior of the Volkswagen Vento and Polo remain unchanged.
- The models also come with the Volkswagen standard 4EVER Care package, which includes a 4-year standard warranty, 4-years roadside assistance (RSA) and 3-free services as a standard.
- Both the models are powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder, turbocharged TSI engine.
- The powertrain is tuned to produce 108 bhp at 5000-5500 rpm and 175 Nm at 1750-4000 rpm of peak torque.
- The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
