The last time Volkswagen India increased the price of the Polo and Vento was in January 2021. While the company hasn't mentioned the reason for the price hike, increasing input costs for raw materials is suspected to be the main reason behind this price hike. At the moment, the carmaker is gearing up to launch the all-new Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV, which will go on sale in India on September 23, 2021.
