- The cost of renting the Audi Q3 will be Rs. 240 per hour
- Audi and Zoomcar will also work on bringing new mobility solutions
- At present, there is only one model from Audi in Zoomcar's portfolio
Zoomcar was one of the first players in the self-drive car rental business in India. The company recently announced its partnership with Audi India and has included the Audi Q3 SUV in its portfolio from now. The Audi Q3 can be rented via the Zoomcar platform at a price of Rs. 240 per hour, which includes fuel, insurance, road side assistance and the requisite taxes. At present, Zoomcar users can book an Audi Q3 in the cities of Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata.
"Audi has always been committed towards pioneering mobility solutions, embodying 'Vorsprung durch Technik'. Zoomcar represents both visionary car rental and modern mobility. It's no secret that the Audi Q3 is one of the most popular models in our product portfolio. We are pleased to see that luxury aficionados in the country can now experience our youngest SUVs in India in such a flexible way" said Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India.
(Now customers can also hire the Audi Q3 on Zoomcar's website.)Zoomcar is also looking to work with Audi India to develop mobility solutions for urban consumers and look forward to launch more product offerings in the near future.
Zoomcar had also recently launched the ZAP interface, where a person can list out his car on the website and rent it out when he/she is not using it. Zoomcar says that it has seen over 20,000 registrations for this program on its website. Also, the company believes that this marketplace model will account for over 50 per cent of the overall vehicle inventory by the middle of 2017, which is just months away. This particular business model will also enable Zoomcar to have a fleet size of over 25,000 cars by the end of 2018.
At present, one can choose from hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and luxury cars from carmakers such as Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz and now Audi as well.
