Ferrari Unveils the F12 TRS

Last week at the Ferrari Cavalcade driving tour in Sicily, the Italian car maker unveiled a one-off open-top F12 Berlinetta called TRS which has been created by the company's Special Projects division.
A high-end Ferrari customer wanted a bespoke F12 Berlinetta with an open-air cabin with influences from the 1957 250 Testa Rossa and the company complied by creating a more aggressive looking F12. It boasts of a window in the engine lid which gives one a clear view of the V12 engine's red cylinder heads.
The F12's T-shaped graphic at the rear gets a smooth ramp that runs from the central tunnel and this creates a connection between the interior and the exterior.
Inside is all about keeping things simple and there are less buttons and knobs as the controls for the audio system and windows. There is a combination of Alcantara, leather and black matte carbon fibre that has been used to give it that premium feel and look.
Ofcourse, the description of any Ferrari would never be complete without talking about the engine. The F12 TRS gets the same naturally-aspirated 6.2-litre V12 engine delivering 729bhp and 690 Nm torques. There is no change in the performance figures too as the F12 TRS will do 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds and 0-200km/h will be completed in 8.5 seconds. The car will hit a top speed of 340km/h.
It's understandable that Ferrari has gone all out to change the look and feel of the car and it has to be said that they have been successful in their task.
