The most talked about development in the auto space is of course electric vehicles as quite a few brands have vowed to go all electric or at least have a massive EV line-up by the end of this decade. Quite a few EVs are already on sale and many are scheduled next year. Here is a list of all new EVs we expect to go roll out into the global market next year.
Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes EQE electric sedan has a claimed range of 660 kilometres.
Mercedes-Benz is coming up with a robust EV offensive and the E-Class based Mercedes-Benz EQE electric sedan will play a pivotal role in keeping up with its volume game. It will pack a 90 kWh battery under its floor offering 660 km of range and 287 bhp from a single rear-wheel-drive motor. And on the inside, it borrows the MBUX Hyperscreen from the EQS. The model in expected to arrive in the Q2 of 2022.
Volkswagen ID.5

The ID.5 has a range of over 500 kms and a bigger truck than the ID.4 despite being a crossover coupe.
Another German brand that's quite active with its electric range is Volkswagen and the ID.5 is the next model joining its line-up. Now Volkswagen has only unveiled the near-production version of the ID.5 and more details here shared last month. The electric model will be available in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions and it has a low centre of gravity thanks to the high-voltage battery built into the floor of the body - ensuring well-balanced driving dynamics. The ID.5 offers a range of up to 335 miles of 540 km or up to 308 miles 497 km on the ID.5 GTX.
Toyota bZ4X
Earlier this month Toyota unfolded its plans for future mobility and we were quite smitten to see the massive EV display it came up with. While most of those models were in their concept avatar and were in the making, the Toyota bZ4X looked near production and according to the rumours it is expected to go on sale early in 2022. The official range on the AWD trim is yet to be disclosed but its previously revealed cruising range per charge WLTC is 460 km.
Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck will have three variants with different electric motor setup.
The Tesla Cybertruck is one model that needs no introduction after dramatic prototype unveil. Well! The electric pick-up truck was expected to go on sale this year itself until Tesla deferred its plans scheduling its launch next year. And yes! The production-version will look much different and less radical compared to the prototype. Final technical details too are yet to surface and the model is expected to enter production in late 2022.
Polestar 3

The Polestar 3 will debut on a new generation of EV architecture.
Volvo's Polestar is also gearing up to excite us with its upcoming EV. So far we have only seen the camouflaged prototype of the model and we know that it is being designed specifically for the US market. Genesis GV60

It will be the first Genesis EV based on the Hyundai E-GMP platform.
Genesis too has plans to go all-electric by 2025 and the GV60 will be its first step in that direction. It will be underpinned by Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP platform and the crossover utility vehicle (CUV) will be offered with three-powertrains - single motor 2WD, Standard AWD, and Performance AWD alonmg with a "boost mode.".
