- KTM India will introduce the new Duke range on 23rd February
- The 2017 KTM 390 Duke sports design, features and tech upgrades
- The 2017 KTM 200 Duke is likely to sport styling changes
The 2017 KTM 390 Duke sports a plethora of upgrades including a sharper and more focused design language inspired from the Super Duke R. The single-headlight cluster remains but is now an all-LED unit with integrated DRLs. There is a new TFT display unit that packs in a host of new information and is also said to have phone mirroring feature. Moreover, the new generation 390 Duke also comes with ride-by-wire, side mounted exhaust, both of which were introduced on the 2017 RC390 this year.

New KTM 390 Duke
Power continues to come from the 373.2 cc single-cylinder engine that now meets Euro 4 emission regulations and continues to produce 43 bhp of power, while torque has increased to 37 Nm, up by 2 Nm. The 6-speed gearbox stays as well. Those complaining of the Duke's small range will be happy to know that the fuel tank size has increased marginally to 13.4 litres. The previous one held up to 11 litres. The dry weight has also gone up to 149 kg on the naked.

2017 KTM 390 Duke is likely to get riding modes
Other changes on the new 390 Duke include increased ground clearance, wheelbase reduced by 10 mm and seat height increased by 30 mm to 380 mm. There is the new and updated Brembo 9MB two-channel ABS as well. Another important update is the tweaked Trellis frame on the 390 Duke that now features a bolt on rear subframe. Internationally, the new 390 Duke also gets riding modes, but it needs to be seen if KTM India will be introducing the same here.

2017 KTM 200 Duke
With respect to the 2017 KTM 200 Duke, it is isn't clear if India will get the new generation model so soon. Speculations suggest that KTM will continue selling the current 200 Duke, albeit with cosmetic upgrades and subtle changes for a while. Internationally, the 200 Duke has also received a host of changes to its styling apart from the Euro4 compliant engines.

2017 KTM 200 Duke Side
Expect a marginal priced hike on the 2017 KTM 390 Duke with prices expected to start around Rs. 2.10 lakh for the new model. The 2017 KTM 200 Duke will also see a mild revision in prices. While bookings for the new KTM Duke range have already commenced at dealerships for a token amount of Rs. 2000, complete details on the models will be available on 23rd February. We will be updating you with all the details live from launch, so make sure to keep watching this space.
