2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Revealed

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the facelift of the C-Class. The current generation was first brought out in 2015 and so it's clearly not outdated but this mid-cycle refresh adds on to the feature list. But there are minor changes that Mercedes-Benz has managed to make and the car will make its first public appearance at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
The changes to the exterior are subtle but not really noticeable. The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned and the vehicle equipped with AMG-Line features a diamond radiator grille as standard. In conjunction with the AMG Line Exterior the C-Class sports an AMG front bumper with a new geometry and at the rear the insert in in the diffuser comes in a new design.

The new C-Class comes with new front and rear bumpers
The C-Class is now equipped with LED headlamps and taillamps as standard. An LED Intelligent Light System with High Performance headlamps and Ultra wide high beam is available as an optional extra. There are new paint schemes on offer too and the company calls it Mojave Silver Metallic and Emerald Green Metallic. Additionally, the standard 17-inch twin 5-spoke wheel is new as well.
The changes on the inside are much more noticeable. There's a new 12.3-inch digital instrument display over the standard cluster. There's a new steering wheel on offer with touch control buttons, something that we've seen both on the E-Class and the new S-Class. There's a new 10.25-inch screen available as an option over the standard 7-inch display. Of course smart phone integration sees another box checked.

The cabin of the new C-Class has been spruced up
The updated C-Class features the latest driver assistance systems available in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, offering the driver cooperative support and providing for a higher standard of active safety than its predecessor. The C-Class is able to drive semi-autonomously in certain situations. Other new developments include the intuitive Active Lane Change Assist and Active Emergency Stop Assist as functions of Active Steering Assist.
Power still comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor making a bit more power than before - 255 bhp and power is channelled to the wheels through the familiar 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox. We expect the updated C-Class to make its way to India by the end of this year but first we wait to see it in the flesh at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show
