- The 2021 SuperSport 950 draws power from Euro5 compliant 937 cc motor
Ducati India has announced the launch date for the 2021 SuperSport 950 in the country. The new offering will go on sale on September 9, 2021, and comes with a host of upgrades. The 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 made its global debut late last year and will now finally arrive here. The most notable upgrade on the new SuperSport 950 is the updated fairing that takes inspiration from the Panigale V4. The new side panels come with the twin air ducts that divert the heat away from the rider. The twin LED headlights are now integrated into the fairing while the intakes next to the headlights feed fresh air into the engine. The LED DRL pattern is also identical to the Panigale V4.
The redesigned front-end also makes for better aerodynamics on the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950. The bike also gets a new 4.3-inch full-TFT display and improved electronics as part of the update. Power on the SuperSport 950 comes from the 937 cc Testastretta, 11 degrees, twin-cylinder engine. The motor is now Euro5/BS6 compliant and belts out 110 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 93 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The oil bath clutch is now activated by the new hydraulic control with self-bleeding radial pump equipped with an adjustable lever.

The SuperSport 950 gets a new TFT instrument console, with design and graphics inspired by the Panigale V4
In terms of electronics, the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 comes equipped with Bosch's 6-axis inertial platform. It gets Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shift and the new Ducati Wheelie Control. The bike comes with three riding modes - Touring, Urban and Sport.
Other cycle parts include 43 mm Marzocchi USD forks up front with a Sachs monoshock at the rear. The SuperSport 950 S gets thicker, 48 mm Ohlins USDs up front and an Ohlins monoshock at the rear. Braking performance comes from Brembo M4-32 monobloc radial calipers with two 320 mm discs at the front. The rear gets a 245 mm disc with a Brembo two-piston caliper. The SuperSport 950 comes fitted with three-spoke alloy wheels with a 120/70 ZR 17 tyre at the front and 180/55 ZR 17 tyre at the rear. The bike uses Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber.
