The iconic superbike is now in its third generation and the model is priced at Rs. 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Hayabusa gets comprehensive updates for the first time in 13 years. Now, the India-spec model is slightly different from the global model. The Hayabusa sold in India simply gets LED indicators while the international model gets LED daytime running lights integrated with indicators. The latter is not available as Indian rules and regulations pertaining to two-wheelers do not allow DRLs integrated with indicators. Secondly, India gets three colour options for the Hayabusa, while most global markets get just two colours.
