2022 Audi Q3 Bookings Open; Variants & Features Announced

- Audi India has opened the bookings for Q3 for Rs. 2 lakh.
- Will be available in 2 variants - Premium Plus & Technology.
- Deliveries expected to begin towards the end of 2022.
After the introduction of the 2022 Audi A8 L luxury sedan last month, Audi is set to launch its next big product, the 2022 Audi Q3 premium compact SUV in India, and Audi India has announced that it has opened the bookings for the Q3 for a sum of Rs. 2 lakh. The 2022 Audi Q3 has been on sale in European markets since 2019 but comes to India only now due to the delay caused by the global pandemic. Audi is expected to launch the new Q3 around September 2022, with deliveries beginning towards the end of the year. Audi is also giving benefits to its first 500 customers, which include a 2+3 year extended warranty, 3 year/50,000 km comprehensive service value package, and further special loyalty benefits to existing Audi India customers.

Announcing the opening of bookings for Audi's next-gen premium compact SUV, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, "The new Audi Q3 has a fan following of its own in India and is loved by one and all. The second-generation Audi Q3 looks much sportier than its predecessor thanks to the striking Singleframe in octagon design divided up by vertical bars, along with the large air inlets. The sleek Matrix LED headlights run inwards with their wedge shape. The profile balances the exterior design with the symmetrical lighting graphics of the headlights and rear lights. The contours draw their inspiration from Audi’s Quattro DNA and make the SUV seem even wider. The long roof edge spoiler flanks the rear window at the side, with a steeply raked C pillar.

The interior of the 2022 Audi Q3 consists of a driver-focussed cockpit with three-dimensionally styled elements. Its central element is the MMI touch display with its high-gloss black glass-look surround, while the air con controls are positioned underneath and tilted 10 degrees toward the driver. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is a standard fitment featuring the MMI navigation plus. There is also a 10.1-inch touch display in the middle of the dashboard. The top end ‘Technology’ variants also packs more premium features like Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, ambient lighting with 30 colour options, wireless phone charger, a 180W Audi sound system, Audi Drive Select and much more.

The 2022 Audi Q3 will feature a 2.0-litre petrol engine which develops 187 bhp and 320 Nm, paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive system. It does the 0-100 kmph sprint in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 222 kmph. Once launched, the 2022 Audi Q3 will rival the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40 in the Indian market.
