2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift To Be Launched In Second Week Of April

- A refreshed Ertiga will be launched in the coming days.
- The facelift could receive minor cosmetic updates.
- The biggest update would be under the hood.
Maruti Suzuki India is set to have a busy April, as the company plans to launch two refreshed products, the first being the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift coming later this month, and the other being the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift, set for a launch in mid-April. According to dealer sources, the refreshed Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will start arriving at dealerships next week, ahead of its price reveal in the following week. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift could receive minor cosmetic updates, but the biggest change could come in the form of an updated heart.

Unlike the Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift, the changes to the Maruti Suzuki Eritga will be restricted to a slight tweak to its fascia, something we've seen with the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Nevertheless, major change will come in the form of a new powertrain, especially, a new petrol engine, which would most likely be a BS6 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired to the new AMT box, that was introduced with the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The 5-speed manual transmission will be retained.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be the third product introduced by the company this year, after the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio, and the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Prior to the launch of refreshed versions of the Ertiga, and XL6, Maruti Suzuki will introduce the new Vitara Brezza, which will most likely come in by May, followed by the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and the updated S-Presso as well. Maruti will end the year with a new compact SUV, to rival the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, as well as the Volkswagen Taigun.
