2022 MG ZS EV India Launch Highlights: Price, Features, Specifications, Images

Morris Garages India has launched the 2022 MG ZS EV facelift in India today, and we have all the highlights from the launch event here. The electric SUV comes with some major cosmetic updates, along with a host of new and refreshed features. Updates made to the 2022 ZS EV will include a new exterior that now accentuates its EV nature with a heavily refreshed front end, which now comes with a covered grille, like what we have seen on conventional EVs. Prices start from Rs. 21.99 lakh, and go up to Rs. 25.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

MG Motor has also paid key attention to the cabin, which now offers more creature comforts than before. Enhancing rear seat comfort is a centre armrest with individual cupholders, headrests for all three seats, and rear AC vents for additional comfort. Additionally, the 2022 MG ZS EV will also come with a refreshed interior, possibly taking design cues from the MG Astor.

MG Motor India has announced that the new ZS EV will come with an all-new edition of its iSmart user interface with more than 75 connected car features. The new user interface doubles down on MG's car as a platform philosophy. The app will also allow users to track the charging levels and time of the car. There is a new voice recognition system inside the app that allows for over 100 commands to control the sunroof, AC, Music, Navigation, and out of these over 35 commands understand Hinglish. The car also comes with a Bluetooth digital key that will enable owners to drive without a physical key in the select cases.

The existing MG ZS EV gets a 44.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery pack that powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It develops 141 bhp and 353 Nm of peak torque. MG claims the electric SUV offers a maximum range of up to 419 km when fully charged.
