- Largely the features have been borrowed from the Astor
MG Motor India has announced an all-new edition of ifs iSmart user interface for its 2022 ZS EV which will have more than 75 features. This is even more than what Kia offers with Kia Connect which has 69 plus features. The new user interface doubles down on MG's car as a platform philosophy.
It features a bevy of in-car services from big players like Jio, Park
+, MapMyIndia and Shortpedia. MapMyIndia provides online navigation and live traffic updates in a 4D user interface. With Park+ users will be able to pre-book and pre-pay for parking slots before reaching their destination.
Reliance Jio's JioSaavn music streaming service is also integrated into the car like the MG Astor which was launched last year. It even gets the latest news from Shortpedia in English and Hindi.
The car also comes with a Bluetooth digital key that will enable owners to drive without a physical key in the select cases. The i-Smart connected car app allows users to remotely unlock the car, control the climate control and provide live location sharing. It also works both on Android and iPhone.
The app will also allow users to track the charging levels and time of the car. There is a new voice recognition system inside the app that allows for over 100 commands to control the sunroof, AC, Music, Navigation, and out of these over 35 commands understand hinglish.
The MG Pulse hub is also made available with 24x7 assist.
