All New Audi Q7 to Debut at 2014 Paris Motor Show
2014 Paris Motor Show will witness global unveiling of the new generation Audi Q7. The vehicle is expected to be launched in global market by first quarter of 2015. Being a part of Volkswagen family, the SUV is expected to be inherited with similar traits as seen in Volkswagen Trourag, Porsche Cayenne and the upcoming SUV from Bentley.
Among the new additions made to next generation model of Q7, a new front grille is included, the similar kind of grille was seen in Crosslane Coupe Concept. New set of engines could power updated Q7 SUV enabling improved fuel economy. Along with larger V6 and V8 diesel powertrains, a four pot diesel motor is also expected to be equipped in the new SUV. Besides these engines Audi could offer new Q7 in Hybrid avatar. Further contributing towards enhanced fuel economy is skimmed weight of the SUV.
In India, Q7 is among the popular SUVs offered by Audi. India spec model is available in diesel as well as petrol engine options which includes a 3.0 litre TDi Quattro variant, 3.0 litre TFSI Quattro variant and a 4.2 litre TDi Quattro variant. Q7's popularity in India has been rock solid ever since its launch in the domestic market.
