Altigreen Partners With MoEVing To Begin Operation In Delhi-NCR

- The Altigreen NEEV is an L5 electric cargo vehicle.
- It has been designed for intra city purposes.
- It can cover up to 125 km with 550 Kg Payload in city traffic conditions.
Electric Vehicle startup- Altigreen has partnered with electric fleet service provider MoEVing to launch its EVs in Delhi-NCR and deliveries of its range including- NEEV 3-wheel EV for MoEVing's portfolio in Delhi-NCR have already commenced. The Altigreen NEEV is an L5 Cargo vehicle that has been designed for intra city movement or to carry goods within the city, and is suitable for small businesses like grocery stores, electronic stores, mini milk vans or online delivery services among others. The Altigreen's NEEV is powered by a 11-kWh battery solution and the company claims that it can cover up to 125 km with 550 kg payload in city traffic conditions.

Commenting on the partnership, Amitabh Saran, CEO - Altigreen Propulsion Labs said, "There is growing demand for sustainable last-mile services in Delhi-NCR, owing to environmental concerns and increased operational costs of ICE vehicles. We believe that Altigreen NEEV provides an ideal, robust, long-term solution that is tailor-made for Indian road conditions. The partnership with MoEVing will help both the companies achieve their vision of deploying environment friendly mobility solutions in the region".

Deliveries of the Altigreen Neev 3-wheel EV for MoEVing's portfolio in Delhi-NCR have already commenced.
Altigreen has already opened its office in New Delhi and has also launched a service network across various geographical areas in Delhi-NCR to support its customers. The Delhi Government has already exempted 'electric carriers' from its existing ban on plying & parking of LCVs in NCR during specified timings, under the Delhi EV Policy of 2019 which would help in faster adoption of LCEVs. The new policy also provides a purchase incentive of Rs 30,000 to the first ten thousand electric goods carriers registered in Delhi, in addition to interest subvention of 5 per cent on loans availed from HDFC.
