Audi India Reports Sales of 2,128 Units In H1 2025, Down 14 Per Cent


- Sales in Q2 2025 down to 901 units
- Sales in H1 2025 down 13 per cent year-on-year
- Used car sales grow 10 per cent in H1 2025
Audi India reported its sales for the first half of the calendar year 2025 with 2,128 units delivered. Sales in the first quarter of 2025 stood at 1,223 units, with sales in Q2 amounting to 905 units. This marked a near 37 per cent decline over Q2 2024, where the brand reported sales of 1,431 units. Cumulatively, sales were down about 14 per cent compared to H1 2024.

Commenting on the sales performance, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “While H1 2025 presented unique market challenges, we have used this period to strengthen our foundation for sustainable growth. By prioritising a luxuryfirst approach and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we continue to reinforce brand loyalty. We see growth potential in the luxury segment in the second half of the year, fueled by new product introductions, our digital-first approach and unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.”

Audi said that it faced notable headwinds in the first half of 2025, citing rising vehicle prices, weakening rupee and ‘heightened market uncertainty amid evolving geopolitical tensions’ as notable factors.

While new car sales were in the red, Audi’s used car business, Audi Approved: plus posted a year-on-year growth. The company said that sales under its used car division were up 10 per cent in the first half of the year. The brand, however, did not reveal the number of units delivered.
