The company will also showcase the F 750 GS at the Auto Expo but whether it will be launched in India or not, is still unconfirmed. Along with the adventure twins, we will also see the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS motorcycles showcased at the Auto Expo. Talking about the adventure twin, these are the first modern BMW bikes to get an all-new 853 cc parallel-twin engine making 76 bhp of max power and 83 Nm of peak torque on the F 750 GS. (BMW F 850 GS )There is an all-new frame and a new suspension setup in play as well. According to BMW, the steel bridge frame integrates the engine better as opposed to the old frame on the 700 and the 800. The new frame of course is stiffer too. BMW is also offering a dynamic electronic suspension which constantly adapts to the changing surface and adjusts the suspension. This is something similar to the Ducati's semi active skyhook suspension on the Multistrada 1200. The 850 weighs 229 kg while the 750 weighs 204 kg.
(The BMW G 310 GS will be launched in India along with the BMW G 310 R)Both motorcycles will have electronics such as riding modes, ABS, traction control and so on. There will be optional features such as full-LED lighting, multi-function instrument console and so on. The bikes will go up against the likes of the Triumph Tiger range and the Ducati Multistrada 950.
(BMW G 310 R)On the other hand, BMW will also showcase the G 310 R and the G 310 GS at the upcoming Auto Expo. The G 310 R in particular was also showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and has been in the pipelines for the longest time. Both bikes will get the same engine which is a 313 cc single-cylinder motor making 34 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The G 310 GS will sport a different styling and the suspension will have more travel than the G 310 R. The G 310 R is expected to be priced around Rs. 2.5 lakh while the G 310 GS should be priced just below Rs. 3 lakh. The motorcycles will be launched in India in the middle of 2018.
