Bajaj Dominar 2018 Collection Official Goes On Sale; Gets 3 New Colours

- The new 2018 collection of Dominar comes with Gold Dust alloy wheels
- The Red and Blue colours replace the white and plum shades
- No change in price of the 2018 Dominar 400
Bajaj Auto today officially launched the 2018 range of its flagship bike, the Dominar 400 in India. Available in new Rock Matte Black, Canyon Red, and Glacier Blue colours, the 2018 Bajaj Dominar was revealed early this month, on January 10, on the sidelines of the launch of the 2018 Bajaj Discover range. While the matte black shade has carried over from the previous year's model range, all three bikes now come with new Gold Dust alloy wheels, adding to the premium appearance of the bike. Prices for the 2018 Bajaj Dominar remain the same and start from Rs. 1.42 lakh for the non-ABS model and Rs. 1.56 lakh for the ABS version (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
Talking about the new Bajaj Dominar 2018 collection, Eric Vas, President - Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto said, "We are commemorating the first-anniversary celebration of Dominar400 with the launch of a new 2018 collection. Within one year, the bike has created a strong following for itself. It has become the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers, alike. Customers have pushed the bike into the extreme long distance and challenging geographies with aplomb, which inspired us to dedicate the new collection to these terrains it has dominated."

2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 Canyon Red
Mechanically, the 2018 Bajaj Dominar remains unchanged and continues to be powered by the KTM-sourced a 373.3 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid cooled engine that has been revised for the Dominar 400. The Bharat Stage IV (BS-IV) compliant engine also gets Bajaj's signature DTS-i, triple spark technology and makes 34.5 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque, with a 6-speed transmission.

2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 Glacier Blue
The 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 sees no changes, on the features front as well, offers an all-LED headlamp and daytime running lights, Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function, reverse backlit instrumentation and slipper clutch. The bike comes with Bajaj's signature perimeter frame along with 43 mm telescopic forks up front and adjustable monoshock suspension at back. Braking duties are handled by the same 320 mm disc at the front wheel and 230 mm disc at the rear, equipped with an optional dual-channel ABS setup.
