Bajaj Dominar In New Red And Blue Shades Launched For 2018

- The 2 new colours replace the white and plum shades on the Bajaj Dominar
- The 2018 Avenger Street 220 & Cruise 220 received cosmetic upgrades
- Bajaj also launched the 2018 V12, V15 and Platina commuters
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2018 Dominar in the country with two new paint schemes. The flagship offering from the bike maker is now available in Canyon Red and Glacier Blue shades, in addition to the existing matte black option. The motorcycle now also comes with gold painted alloy wheels complementing the new colour options. The updated Dominar has been launched alongside the new Bajaj Discover 110 and 125 commuter motorcycles. Prices for the 2018 Bajaj Dominar remain the same and start from Rs. 1.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

While the 2018 Bajaj Dominar is available in new shades, the current white and plum colours have been dropped from the line-up. The motorcycle continues with the same mechanicals though, using the 373.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned to produce 34.5 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission. The bike also comes with 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes, while ABS is offered as optional on the motorcycle.

Apart from the new Discover and Dominar series, Bajaj Auto also introduced the comprehensively updated 2018 Avenger Cruise 220 and Avenger Street 220 cruisers. Both bikes get incremental updates in terms of new headlamp cluster with LED DRLs, new digital instrument console, insignia, body graphics and much more. Bajaj says the rear suspension has also been worked upon to make the bike a lot more comfortable. Bajaj is yet to announce prices on the new Avenger 220 range.

In addition, the Bajaj Platina has been updated and now sports an LED DRL. The bike continues with the 102 cc single-cylinder motor that belts out 8.10 bhp and 8.6 Nm of peak torque, while paired to a 4-speed gearbox. Also receiving subtle updates is the Bajaj V12 and V15 for 2018. The specifications continue to remain the same including the 149 cc engine with 11.8 bhp and 13 Nm of torque on offer. The bike though, now gets a rear seat as standard, instead of the cafe racer cowl. Prices remain unchanged on the bikes.
